River & Ridge Outdoors collects only the information needed to respond to you, improve the Trout Confidence System, operate the website, and protect its forms and services.

Information you provide

When you submit feedback, we receive the answers you enter and any name or email address you provide. If you choose the optional update checkbox, we may use your email address for occasional product and launch updates. Feedback is not posted publicly.

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address, message, and any other information you choose to include.

Field Notes and catch photos

Field Notes and catch photos saved through the current website or Field Companion are stored in your browser on your device. They are not automatically uploaded to River & Ridge. Clearing browser or site data, changing devices, or removing the app may delete that locally stored information.

Information processed automatically

Our hosting and security services may process basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, requested pages, timestamps, and security events. Cloudflare Turnstile processes information needed to confirm that feedback is submitted by a person rather than an automated system.

How feedback is handled

Feedback submissions are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database for product-development review. Postmark sends River & Ridge a notification email so the submission can be reviewed and answered. Cloudflare and Postmark process information on our behalf to provide those services.

How we use information

• Respond to questions and feedback.
• Improve the product, training, River Intelligence, and website.
• Contact people who choose to receive product or launch updates.
• Maintain security, prevent spam, and troubleshoot the service.

River & Ridge does not sell personal information.

Retention and your choices

We keep submitted feedback only as long as reasonably needed for product development, communication, security, and legal obligations. You may opt out of updates at any time or ask us to delete feedback connected to your email address.

Future services

This policy will be updated before ecommerce, customer accounts, account-based syncing, analytics, or other services that change how personal information is collected or used are launched.
